• Tested Core Materials: All our core materials, including StPb®, LiPb®, and NoPb®, undergo rigorous testing in collaboration with BARC to ensure their quality and effectiveness.
• Protection Levels: The front protection is available in 0.35mm and 0.5mm lead equivalent, where the total equivalency in the overlapped area is double. The back of the apron always provides a consistent 0.25mm lead equivalent protection, regardless of the front lead equivalent (0.35mm or 0.5mm).
• Versatile Core Materials: We offer three core materials to suit different needs. StPb® Core material, composed of lead vinyl, provides a dependable heavy-duty solution at a low cost, suitable for gamma radiation and x-ray procedures (CT-assist, thorax) exceeding 120kV. LiPb® Core material, made from a combination of antimony and lead, offers a lighter weight option while maintaining strong protective qualities. NoPb® Core Material is a lead-free protective material consisting of a mixture of bismuth, tungsten, and antimony. It meets European standards for safe disposal and represents our lightest weight radiation protection material.
• Convenient Dosimeter Badge Pocket: The apron features a front pocket specifically designed to hold a dosimeter badge, ensuring easy access and monitoring.
